During the design sprint i ran, I collaboratively focused on designing some aspect of the user flow, the assets overview, payment dashboard and withdraw modal. In this collaborative effort with the stakeholders, we got together to improve the user experience using good design principles, and incorporating as much feedback from everyone on the team as possible.
Having maximum creative freedom and tasked with imagining a web app that focuses on helping content creators. I started by during a design system audit, and that led to knowing the existing component library lacked versatility for diverse content types.
One of the biggest challenge faced was balancing the presentation and organization of data to provide a comprehensive overview for creators
So designing a more user-friendly and intuitive interface was crucial to facilitate easy navigation and understanding of the data, while also considering the need for real-time updates to keep creators informed about their earnings.
To decrease the information overload in the final designs I prioritised disclosure of important datas and information. By leveraging on my experience in element design, making elements easier and more pleasant to interact with
To help educate users on some of the withdrawal methods (Crypto currency, wallet), the design included hyperlinks and other suggestions. This is placed strategically throughout the interface, providing users with additional information on how it works and its benefits. By incorporating these design elements, users can gain a better understanding of the feature and feel more confident in utilizing it.
I had a grand time designing this interface. I learned a lot about the mechanics behind running a design sprint. Given the market conditions at the time, the stakeholders decided to prioritise other initiatives and sunset the product.
In conclusion, the design sprint showcased the agility and adaptability required in product design. Through design exploration, iterative refinement, stakeholder collaboration, and a willingness to pivot, the design solutions evolved to meet the evolving needs of its users. By embracing change and remaining dedicated to user-centric design principles, I demonstrated the importance of flexibility and responsiveness in creating design solutions that truly resonate with users and stakeholders alike.
